It is looking like March 10th will be the final Wilmot trip of the Blizzard Season. We encourage everyone to attend, even those who have not joined us all season. Since we will have colder weather during the next few evenings, WIlmot will be able to make snow and keep the snowpack from melting during the day.
The Granite Peak trip is coming up quickly and the deadline looms for those of you who are as yet undecided or just delaying your signup to find out if your friends are going. Sign up ends this weekend! It will happen on the weekend of March 16-18th.The cost is $350 for the weekend. The fee includes the lift tickets, lodging, and bus fee. Lunch and Dinner will be extra. The buses will leave from both Lincoln Park and River Forest at around 4:30 PM on Friday and return Sunday evening around 8 PM. At the present time, we need more participants from both locations to warrant two buses. This is a lightly supervised trip desigend for those in 5th grade and older. I'd prefer to have only level D and higher although I'll also want to see the level C skiers and boarders before they join us. Supervisors include: Bill and Lisa Carroll from the Wilmot Ski School, Bunny, Justyna, Suzanne, and a few others, all of whom you know and see with Blizzard on a regular basis.
